  Abandonment in SAP FS-AM-CM-AC Account Assignment is the process of canceling an account assignment that has been created but not yet posted. This can be done when the account assignment is no longer needed or when the account assignment is incorrect. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To abandon an account assignment in SAP FS-AM-CM-AC Account Assignment, go to the Account Assignment tab in the transaction and select the account assignment you want to abandon. Then click on the “Abandon” button. This will cancel the account assignment and remove it from the system.
