  • SAP Tcode: WE30 - Développement type d'IDoc

    Overview:
WE30 is an SAP transaction code used to develop IDoc types. IDocs are data containers used to exchange information between different systems. They are used to transfer data from one system to another, such as from an ERP system to a non-SAP system.

    Functionality:
WE30 allows users to create, change, and display IDoc types. It also allows users to define the structure of the IDocs, including the segments and fields that make up the IDoc. This transaction code also allows users to define the message type and port type for the IDocs.

    Step-by-step How to Use:
    1. Enter WE30 in the command field and press enter.
    2. Select the “Create” button to create a new IDoc type.
    3. Enter a name for the IDoc type and select “Continue”.
    4. Select the “Segments” tab and enter the segments that make up the IDoc type.
    5. Select the “Fields” tab and enter the fields that make up each segment of the IDoc type.
    6. Select the “Message Type” tab and enter a message type for the IDoc type.
    7. Select the “Port Type” tab and enter a port type for the IDoc type.
    8. Select “Save” to save your changes.

    Other Recommendations:
It is recommended that users test their newly created IDoc types before using them in production systems. This can be done by using transaction code WE19 or by using an ALE test tool such as ALE Test Cockpit (ATC).
