Overview: The SAP transaction code OND3 is used to maintain BDT format rules in the IS-H module. BDT stands for Business Data Toolset, which is a set of tools used to create and maintain business data objects. The BDT format rules are used to define the structure of the data objects and how they are stored in the system. Functionality: The OND3 transaction code allows users to create, edit, and delete BDT format rules. It also provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for creating and editing the rules. The GUI allows users to easily view and modify the structure of the data objects. Additionally, it provides a way to check for errors in the data objects before they are saved. Step-by-step How to Use: 1. Enter the transaction code OND3 in the command field. 2. Select the “Create” option from the menu bar. 3. Enter a name for the new BDT format rule in the “Name” field. 4. Select the “Structure” tab and enter the structure of the data object in the appropriate fields. 5. Select the “Save” option from the menu bar to save your changes. 6. Select the “Check” option from the menu bar to check for errors in your data object before saving it. 7. Select the “Activate” option from the menu bar to activate your BDT format rule. Other Recommendations: It is recommended that users familiarize themselves with all of the options available in OND3 before using it to create or edit BDT format rules. Additionally, users should always check their data objects for errors before saving them, as this can help prevent errors from occurring later on down the line.
