  1. Enter SDPI in the SAP command field and press enter. 
  2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter a name for the number range in the “Number Range Name” field. 
  4. Enter a description for the number range in the “Description” field. 
  5. Enter a starting number and an ending number for the number range in the “From” and “To” fields, respectively. 
  6. Select “Save” from the menu bar to save your changes. 
  7. Select “Back” from the menu bar to return to the main screen of SDPI. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is recommended that users create a separate number range for each picking list they create in order to ensure that each list has a unique identifier. Additionally, users should ensure that they have sufficient numbers available in their number range so that they do not run out of numbers when creating picking lists.
