  5. Select “Assign Stores” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  6. Select which stores should be assigned to this basic catalog and select “Save”. 
  7. Select “Define Structure” from the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  8. Define the structure of your basic catalog by selecting which levels should be included and what type of items should be included in each level. 
  9. Select “Save” when you are finished defining your basic catalog structure. 
  10. Select “Back” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to return to the main N1BCCATDEF screen. 
  11. Select “Activate” from the menu bar at the top of the screen to activate your basic catalog in SAP Retail.
