  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code MD17 is used to display collective requirements in the material requirements planning (MRP) system. It is used to view the collective requirements of a material, which are the total requirements of a material from all sources, such as sales orders, production orders, and planned orders. 
  
  Functionality: 
  MD17 allows users to view the collective requirements of a material in the MRP system. It displays the total requirements of a material from all sources, such as sales orders, production orders, and planned orders. The collective requirements are displayed in a table format with columns for the source of the requirement, the quantity required, and the date when the requirement is due. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code MD17 in the command field. 
  2. Enter the material number for which you want to view the collective requirements. 
  3. Select the “Collective Requirements” radio button. 
  4. Click on “Execute” to display the collective requirements for the material. 
  5. The collective requirements will be displayed in a table format with columns for source of requirement, quantity required, and date when requirement is due. 
  6. To exit this transaction code, click on “Back” or press F3 on your keyboard.
