  MD09 is a SAP transaction code used to display the pegging information of a material in the system. Pegging is the process of linking two materials together in order to track their relationship. This transaction code is used to view the pegging information of a material, such as the source and target materials, the quantity, and the date of pegging. 
  
  Functionality: 
  MD09 allows users to view the pegging information of a material in the system. It displays the source and target materials, the quantity, and the date of pegging. It also allows users to view the pegging history of a material, which includes all previous pegging operations. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code MD09 in the command field. 
  2. Enter the material number for which you want to view pegging information. 
  3. Select “Display” to view the pegging information for that material. 
  4. To view the pegging history, select “History” from the menu bar. 
  5. Select “Display” to view all previous pegging operations for that material.
