Overview: M-12 is a SAP transaction code used to create hierarchy nodes in the SAP system. It is used to create and maintain the structure of a company’s organizational units, such as departments, cost centers, and profit centers. Functionality: M-12 allows users to create and maintain the structure of a company’s organizational units. It enables users to create new nodes in the hierarchy, assign them to a parent node, and assign them to a company code. It also allows users to delete existing nodes in the hierarchy. Step-by-step How to Use: 1. Enter transaction code M-12 in the command field. 2. Select “Create” from the menu bar. 3. Enter the name of the node you want to create in the “Node Name” field. 4. Select the parent node from the dropdown list in the “Parent Node” field. 5. Select the company code from the dropdown list in the “Company Code” field. 6. Click “Save” to save your changes. 7. To delete an existing node, select “Delete” from the menu bar and enter the name of the node you want to delete in the “Node Name” field. 8. Click “Save” to save your changes. Other Recommendations: It is important to note that M-12 should only be used by experienced users who are familiar with SAP organizational structures and hierarchies. Additionally, it is important to ensure that all changes made using M-12 are properly documented and approved by an authorized user before they are saved in order to avoid any potential errors or issues with data integrity.
