  Overview:
  IW40N is a SAP transaction code used to view the cost overview of an operation in the production order. It provides a detailed overview of the cost components associated with an operation, such as material costs, labor costs, overhead costs, and other costs. 
  
  Functionality: 
  IW40N allows users to view the cost overview of an operation in the production order. It displays the cost components associated with an operation, such as material costs, labor costs, overhead costs, and other costs. The cost overview can be filtered by cost element or cost component group. Additionally, users can view the planned and actual costs for each cost component. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter transaction code IW40N in the SAP command field. 
  2. Enter the production order number in the Order field. 
  3. Select the operation for which you want to view the cost overview in the Operation field. 
  4. Click on Execute (F8). 
  5. The cost overview will be displayed on the screen. 
  6. To filter by cost element or cost component group, click on Cost Element or Cost Component Group in the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  7. To view planned and actual costs for each cost component, click on Planned/Actual Costs in the menu bar at the top of the screen. 
  8. To save or print your results, click on Save or Print in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
