  Purchasing factor is a feature in SAP Business One (SBO) that allows users to set up a purchasing factor for each item in the inventory. This factor is used to determine the quantity of an item that should be purchased when ordering from a vendor. The purchasing factor is calculated based on the average usage of the item over a certain period of time. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To set up a purchasing factor for an item, go to the Inventory tab in SBO and select the item you want to set up a purchasing factor for. Then, click on the “Purchasing Factor” tab and enter the desired value. This value will be used to calculate the quantity of an item that should be purchased when ordering from a vendor. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  It is important to keep track of your inventory usage and adjust your purchasing factor accordingly. If you find that you are consistently running out of an item, you may want to increase your purchasing factor for that item. On the other hand, if you find that you are consistently overstocking an item, you may want to decrease your purchasing factor for that item.
