Key Concepts: Split indicator is a feature in SAP Payroll (PY) that allows you to divide a payment into multiple parts. This is useful when you need to pay an employee in multiple currencies or when you need to split the payment between different accounts. The split indicator also allows you to specify the percentage of the payment that should be allocated to each part. How to use it: To use the split indicator, you first need to enter the payment details in the payroll system. Once you have entered the payment details, you can select the “Split Indicator” option from the menu. This will open a window where you can enter the percentage of the payment that should be allocated to each part. Once you have entered the percentages, click “OK” and the payment will be split accordingly. Tips & Tricks: When using the split indicator, make sure that the total percentage of all parts adds up to 100%. If it does not, then the system will not process your request and an error message will be displayed. Additionally, make sure that all parts of the payment are entered correctly before submitting your request.
