Message type: E = Error
Message class: MH - Maintain Material Master Data (Retail)
Message number: 307
Message text: Diff. maint. validity areas of material displayable only for ref. store
On the <LS>Logistics: Store</> screen, you can display differently
maintained areas of validity only for a reference store (general or
distribution-chain-specific) in the case of single materials or
variants.
If you are maintaining data for the general reference store, the system
considers only stores maintained via this store, and not stores
maintained via a distribution-chain-specific reference store. Of the
stores considered, it displays those maintained differently from the
general reference store.
<ZH>Note</>
If distribution-chain-specific reference stores exist, they are also
displayed since stores of this kind are by nature maintained
differently.
If you are maintaining data for a distribution-chain-specific reference
store, the system considers only stores maintained via this store. Of
the stores considered, it displays those maintained differently from
the distribution-chain-specific reference store.
Reset the value of the store chosen to the initial value, and then
choose <LS>Differently maintained areas of validity</> again.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
