Message class: MH - Maintain Material Master Data (Retail)
Message number: 306
Message text: Diff. maint. validity areas of gen. matl displayable only for ref. store
On the <LS>Logistics: Store</> screen, you can display differently
maintained areas of validity only for a reference store (general or
distribution-chain-specific) in the case of generic materials.
The system determines all variants whose logistics data for the
reference store has been maintained differently from the reference
store of the generic material.
<ZH>Note</>
If you display stores maintained differently from the general reference
store, any distribution-chain-specific reference stores are also
displayed since stores of this kind are by nature maintained
differently.
Reset the value of the store chosen to the initial value, and then
choose <LS>Differently maintained areas of validity</> again.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
