  • What causes this issue?

    One of the following situations has occurred (situation &V1&), which
    prevents you from changing a cost collector:

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Situation 1: You did not enter a WBS element.
    Situation 2: The WBS element you entered is not an account assignment
    element.
    Situation 3. You did not enter a profit center for the WBS element and
    the system can not determine a dummy profit center even though Profit
    Center Accounting is active.
    Situation 4. The WBS element you entered has been neither released nor
    partially teilfreigegeben.
    Situation 5: You did not enter a business area for the specified WBS
    element, although a business area financial statement should be
    created.

    System Response

    You cannot change the cost collector.
