  • What causes this issue?

    When you created a claim, one of the following situations (situation
    &V1&) occurred, which prevents you from creating a cost collector:

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Situation 1: The claim must be approved, or was rejected.
    Situation 2: You did not record costing for the claim.
    Situation 3: You did not enter a WBS element.
    Situation 4: The WBS element you entered is not an account assignment
    element.
    Situation 5: The WBS element has not been released and partially
    released.
    Situation 6: You did not enter a business area in the WBS element,
    although a business area financial statement should be created.
    Situation 7: You did not enter a profit center for the WBS element and
    the system cannot determine a dummy profit center, even though Profit
    Center Accounting is active.
    Situation 8: Customer-specific checks prevent you from creation.
    Situation 9: The status MKOS could not be set.

    System Response

    You cannot create a cost collector for the claim.
