  • What causes this issue?

    The system could <ZH>not</> determine a depreciation period for &V2& for
    period control &V1& of the period control method of phase &V3& of
    depreciation key &V4&.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Maintain the period assignment for the period control specified (in
    Customizing for <LS>Asset Accounting</> under
    <DS:SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUORFAOAVHX>Define Calender Assignments</>).
    If the period control is a standard period control, you can also assign
    the periods automatically using the <LS>Generate Period Control Rules</>
    function (<DS:TRAN.OA84>transaction OA84</>).
