Cause:
This error message indicates that there were existing records in a specific infotype that have been deleted. The deletion could be due to various reasons, such as:
- Data Consistency Issues: If there are inconsistencies in the data or if the infotype records are not aligned with the expected data model, SAP may delete them to maintain data integrity.

Solution:
To resolve this issue, you can take the following steps:
Check Change Logs: Review the change logs for the infotype to identify when and why the records were deleted. This can provide insights into whether it was a manual action or a result of a program.
Data Recovery: If the records were deleted unintentionally, you may need to restore them from a backup or re-enter the data manually if no backup is available.
Review Data Upload Processes: If the deletion occurred during a data upload, review the data files and the upload process to ensure that the data is correct and does not lead to unintended deletions.
Consult with HR or Data Management Teams: Engage with the HR or data management teams to understand the context of the deletions and to ensure that proper data governance practices are in place.
Check for Custom Programs: If there are any custom programs or enhancements that interact with infotype records, review their logic to ensure they are not causing unintended deletions.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
