There are almost 100,000 items in the SAP Glossary library! When you work with SAP you will quickly realize that there are many specialized terms and abbreviations used throughout the SAP systems and documentation. For example, each module has its own abbreviation, such as FI for the Finance module or MM for the Materials Management module.
In addition, SAP uses many specific terms in its software applications, such as Profit Center, Assessments, Depreciation Key, etc. - there are 100s of thousands of key terms in use.
When you are searching for an explanation for a specific SAP term, you can enter key words and even SAP component names (i.e. QM for Quality Management or FI for Financial Accounting terms).
