Message class: VV - Requirements and availability
Message number: 007
Message text: Changing the checking group leads to a change in the summing up of reqs
The change of the checking group you have carried out changes the
summarization of requirements, that is, if you have already created
<GL:individual_requirements>individual requirements records</>, you now
create <GL:summarized_requirements>summarized requirements records</>,
with the new checking group and the other way around.
This change prevents a uniform view of the data, since from that moment
individual as well as summarized requirements records exist for one or
more materials at the same time.
Check whether requirements records already exist for this material. If
this is the case und you want to ensure a uniform view of your
datasets, you can either select or create a different checking group
with the same summarization, or you convert the already existing
datasets. In this case, please contact your consultant.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
