Message text: Control cycle &1 is not intended for automatic supply
Automatic production supply is not intended for control cycle &v1&
(material &v2&, plant &v3&, supply area &v4&).
The system only displays the stock situation at the control cycle.
Automatic production supply using summarized JIT calls is only
supported by certain special control cycles. KANBAN control cycles can
not be used for example.
To change the supply strategy over to automatic production supply, you
must replace existing control cycles with new ones if necessary.
When changing over, note that the material stock must be supplied
exclusively by one control cycle, as otherwise the lot size calculation
will not work correctly.
In warehouses that are simply structured and do not have the
<DS:GLOS.3528EA14E8AA5570E10000009B38F983>Warehouse Management system
</> bin stock, this means there can only be one control cycle per
storage location and the total storage location stock must be available
for this control cycle.
In WM managed warehouses with bin stock, this means that only one
control cycle can exist for a material per WM storage bin and the total
bin stock must be available for this control cycle.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
