  • What causes this issue?

For the sales order that is being changed, a dynamic assembly order
exists that is linked to the sales order. Confirmations have already
been entered for the assembly order, for which goods issues or
production activities have to be posted. The assembly process triggered
by the sales order therefore cannot update the planned order.

    System Response

The planned order cannot be updated because the separate goods issue or
the production activities could not then be offset. The availability
situation cannot be confirmed and is therefore terminated.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

First complete the postings that are still open (Logistics -->
Production --> Repetitive Manufacturing --> Data Entry --> Decoupled
Confirmation). Then carry out an availability check in the sales order
    to restore the confirmed quantity.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages (message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.

An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
