Message text: Inconsistencies between production version and run schedule header
There are data in the run schedule header which do not correspond to
the
production version, for example, routing or BOM data.
A possible reason for the inconsistency is that the production version
has been changed, but the run schedule header has not been updated.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Another reason could be that the MRP controller for the run schedule-if you want to process the run schedule header data further:
Adjust the production version data in production version maintenance
to match the run schedule header data, go to "Change run schedule
header", and save your data.
-if you want to process the production version data further:
When you change the run schedule header, select the pushbutton
'Copy version data' (Umsch+F6).
-if the MRP controller is the inconsistent factor:
Adjust the MRP controller in the material master or, when you change
the run schedule header, select the pushbutton 'Copy version data'
(Umsch+F6).
Subsequently, the system will always determine version data dynamically
in the run schedule header.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
