Message text: Business area in IT1 inconsistent with that in organizational management
In infotype 1, person &V1& is assigned in the period &V2& - &V3& to a
business area which is inconsistent with your assignment in the
organizational structure. The business area of a person in the
organizational structure is determined by the business area of the
person's cost center. This is &V4&.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
When integration is active, as soon as a person is assigned to a cost
center, the system also transfers the business area of the cost center
to infotype 1 of the person (assuming the cost center has a business
area). Since the business areas are different, either the assignment
was made when integration was not active, or the business area in
infotype 1 was changed deliberately. If you want to transfer the
business area of the cost center, start report RHINTE30 for the person.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
