Message type: E = Error
Message class: MU - Maintenance of structured materials
Message number: 134
Message text: BOMs for order unit &1 and issue unit &2 must match for material &3.
You want to create procurement material &V4& based on sales material
&V3& to be used in the context of logistical materials.
A bill of material (BOM) for sales material &V3& contains empties. To
create a consistent procurement material, the BOM for issue unit &V1&
and order unit &V2& must be identical.
The BOMs for the order unit and the issue unit must have the same number
of BOM components and the BOM components must be the same in the BOM for
the order unit and the issue unit.
To avoid a data inconsistency in the material master and to ensure that
the procurement material can be correctly used in logistics processes,
the system stops processing and does not allow you to create the
material master data.
If possible<(>,<)> choose another issue unit or order unit to create
procurement material &V4&. Make sure that a BOM exists for the chosen
issue unit and that the BOMs for the issue unit and the order unit are
identical.
You can also try to adapt the BOMs for issue unit &V1& and order unit
&V2& so that these BOMs are identical.
If it is not possible to choose another unit of measure nor adapt the
BOMs<(>,<)> choose another material to create the procurement material.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
