Message text: Batch &1 was deleted from split record for material &2 (see long text)
You have deleted batch &V1& manually. As a split record for material
&V2& with batch &V1& and requirements quantity &V3& &V4& has already
been created and confirmed by ATP, you must enter a batch.
Further processing of a split record without a batch is not possible.
Enter a batch number (for example, &V1&) and then carry out a new batch
determination. The ATP quantity already confirmed for the split record
is only reset in this case. If you want to delete the split record
manually, take the following steps:
First enter a valid batch (for example, &V1&).
Increase the requirements quantity in the totals record to the
requirements quantity of the split record to be deleted.
Reduce the requirements quantity of the split record to zero.
Delete the split record
Finally, carry out a new batch determination.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
