Message type: E = Error
Message class: AA - Messages for Asset Accounting
Message number: 547
Message text: Insurable value cannot be calculated
The maximum length of the insurable value is 13 places ($99999999999.99
or 9999999999999 lire). There is a base insurable value for this asset
and an index in the index series. The value resulting from this index
and base insurable value would be larger than the maximum length
for the insurable value.
The system does not calculate the insurable value.
If you need to use such a large base insurable value, split it up
between several sub-numbers. Otherwise, use a smaller base insurable
value.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
